Shamrock was born April 10, 2006, so she'll be 2 this year. She is a beautiful true red roan filly. In the summer her body turns almost silver leaving her head and legs dark red, very striking. Her sire is 15.1 H Outwest Hancock (AQHA) who has many traces to Joe Hancock and King among other foundation cowhorses. Her dam is a 15 H grade quarter horse named Firefly. Shamrock is in the process of being registered with the Half-Quarter Horse Association. Both sire and dam are used for moving cattle, playdays, and trails. Shamrock will probably mature about 15-15.1 H and she's leggy. She should be able to get somewhere if asked. I think she'd make a great kid's horse, or a great barrel or rope horse. She enjoys herding the cattle around her pasture. She is a very laid back, gentle, sweet filly. She loves people and has no bad habits. She will lead, tie, pick up her feet, etc. I can't stress enough how gentle this filly is. She will be an easy one to break out and she will be a nice one when mature. She's a bargain right now because her owners have too many horses.
