Bucky--Pony!

Bucky was born July 22, 2005, so he will be 3 in July. He is a sorrel with a curly mane and a gorgeous long tail. He has a blaze and four white socks. He is gentle and halter broke. He is 12.3 H, his sire is about 14.2 H and his dam is 13.3 H, but I think Bucky is just about done growing. He would make a great kid's horse with training or with his pedigree would make a great youth's cowhorse for roping, cutting, penning, etc. Bucky is not registered yet but he can be by you! His owner thought that someone might want to name him themself. He can be registered with the Pony of the Americas Club and with the American Quarter Pony Association. He is by a Quarter Horse stallion with very good bloodlines and out of a double registered POA/QP mare. His sire is McFarlins Dunny King "Romeo", a grandson of Continental King (72.5 performance points in reining, working cowhorse, and western pleasure, NCHA money earner and NRHA Hall of Fame, son of King). Romeo's dam is a gr.granddaughter of Dunny D (performance points and open ROM in calf roping). Romeo has numerous crosses to King (enough said). Bucky's dam is LM Cajun Clover Gold (she is also for sale at this time), she is double registered with the Pony of the Americas Club and with American Quarter Pony Association. She has an impressive pedigree as well with halter and performance point earners as well as Hall of Fame horses and world and national champions in AQHA and ApHC such as Arab Toswirah Alkhar (foundation sire for POAs), Prince Plaudit (national champion sire and ApHC HoF), Mighty Tim (Hi point halter and performance, grand and res. champion halter, ApHC, world and national champion sire), Plaudit, Joe Moore, and Beau Bonanza (all AQHA champions, halter and performance). Bucky has not been castrated and with these kinds of names behind him, would make a great herd sire. He doesn't have any stud attitude despite living with 2 mares, he is still very quiet and laid back. Or, of course, he could be castrated and make a great gelding for anyone. He just needs someone to take the time for him.

$1000 (neg.)

*Both Bucky and Clover (his mom) belong to an elderly couple who have been having medical problems and must sell to pay for medical bills and because they are no longer able to take care of the horses. This is the only reason they are for sale.*
